The products of the VALCO online store are sold by the Finnish company Valco Oy (Business ID 2919697-5, VAT number FI29196975). We sell and deliver products (almost) worldwide.

The prices of Valco's own products generally include taxes and shipping costs. For products supplied by third parties (if any), a separate shipping cost may be added at checkout.

Prices do not include any potential customs fees, import fees, or other unexpected additional costs unknown to us, which exist in poor and greedy developing countries like Switzerland or Norway. It is the customer's responsibility to smuggle their products through the whims of customs officers.

Ordering

Products are ordered from the website www.valco.fi or through the company's other channels. The technical implementation of the service is provided by the Canadian company Shopify. Valco Oy is not responsible for any errors caused by the marketplace.

Orders are confirmed via email, detailing the order info like price, products, and shipping costs. To receive the order confirmation, make sure to provide a working email address when placing your order.

Payment Methods

We accept all the usual suspects: credit cards, PayPal, MobilePay (via Paytrail), Finnish online banks, invoice, installment plans (Klarna), and probably something else we forgot.

We aim to accept all legal payment methods except Venezuelan Bolivars. We don't trust their money. If you live outside Finland and your favorite payment method isn't available, contact our customer service and we'll see if we can add something like squirrel pelts, barter, or any other payment method used around the world.

Delivery Method and Shipping Costs

We couldn't be bothered to calculate shipping costs for every country in the world, so shipping is generally on us, unless stated otherwise for a specific product.

We ship orders as a parcel or letter, depending on the size of the order and product. Note that you can't track a letter with a tracking number.

Products are shipped using the best possible option for each country, like UPS, DHL, or trained carrier pigeons. Except in Bolivia, where we have a deal with Pablo, who delivers our packages with his trusty donkey Mañana (pictured).

We aim to ship every order within two days of purchase. We have no idea how long it takes to deliver a package to your cabin on Moruroa Atoll. If it's been over three weeks, give us a shout.

Exchange and Return Instructions

If you want to exchange, return, or send a product for repair, please contact Valco customer service. We want to handle all possible issues personally.

Warranty Service Instructions

You can send your headphones for warranty service free of charge.

  1. Contact our customer service either through the contact page above or by emailing info@valco.fi. Describe your issue to our agents as clearly as possible.
  2. You will receive a return label or other shipping instructions depending on where you live.
  3. Pack the product carefully. Fill out and print the SERVICE FORM-VALCO. If you cannot print it, create a similar document by hand. Place the document inside the package.
