Product description

So you're taking calls from an Indian call center, a tractor cab or the karaoke bar on the Stockholm ferry, and you're tired of sounding like you've got a potato in your mouth? Does the colleague next to you, busy telling a filthy joke, come through louder on your Teams call than your own voice?

Valco's new wireless mic thingy turns your VMK15 and VMK25.2 headphones into a serious tool, without the annoying, range-limiting cable.

Plug this triumph of technology into the USB-C hole on your headphones and enjoy the freedom. Now you can grab a coffee from the kitchen mid-pointless-meeting without the connection dropping or anyone noticing you're actually standing in front of the fridge. If that sounds too complicated, go apply for a job at your local council office.

Why does this make any sense? Well, you still get ANC, and you don't need to buy a separate pair of headphones for the office or for gaming.

  • Boom mic in front of your face: a directional mic that picks up your voice, not your spouse, your colleague, or the neighbor's renovation project.
  • Bendable arm: shape it nicely in front of your mouth, but still don't try to eat it. It doesn't taste good.

HEADS UP! Doesn't work with older Valco headphones, so buy new cans and make your coworkers jealous at the same time.

Directional boom mic

Same idea as the wired one. Boom mic in front of your face, background noise gone. Just without the cable. Plug the USB-C into the headphones and talk away. You can wander off for a coffee mid-meeting and nobody will be the wiser.

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs.

We could tell you how great we are, but that would be a bit suspicious. So we'll let our customers do the talking instead. Reviews are real. Not every product has enough reviews yet, but the ones that do show up first. Photos are taken by customers themselves, and unfortunately it shows.

Langaton mikrofonijuttu VMK25.2

The microphone thingy. Now without the wires.

The wireless version frees you from the cable but keeps the audio quality at the top. A directional boom mic picks up your voice and not your colleagues' gossip. Jam this triumph of engineering into the USB-C hole on your headphones and enjoy the freedom. You can wander off to grab a coffee in the middle of a soul-crushing meeting, with no dropouts and nobody noticing you're actually standing on top of the fridge.

Why a boom mic is worth it

Valco’s audio guru Jasse Kesti shows in practice what the difference is between a microphone picking up sound from in front of your mouth and from where the sun doesn’t shine. The headphones’ built-in mic hears everything: you, your coworker, your dog, and your neighbor’s renovation. Electronics can help with that, and we’ve helped it along too, but good old physics helps as well. A boom mic picks up what you say and leaves the rest alone. Jasse explains why that happens and demonstrates the difference live so you can hear it for yourself. You don’t need to be an audio engineer to get the difference.

Great products without the dead weight*

Did you know that almost all the electronics inside headphones come from a handful of giants?

Everything else is just smoke and sales talk.

A small maker like Valco can use the exact same top-tier components as the famous mega-corporations stick in their pricier models.

We just don't have a thousand employees to feed, a Manhattan skyscraper to pay for, or a CEO with a private jet (yet).

Which is why we can give you the best bang-for-buck on the market.

And what happens after you've bought? Our customer service and Valco's in-house repair team make sure our products last. And if you fancy a change, you can trade your old Valcos back in to us. Try doing that anywhere else.

At the end of the day, the point of all this is simple. We sell headphones to fund our own Death Star, so we can rule the galaxy.

FAQ

More answers to all sorts of questions over here.

Which headphones does this fit?

VMK15 and VMK25.2, plus future models from 2026 onwards (maybe, we'll see). Doesn't work with older models.

How do you connect it?

Straight into the headphones via USB-C. No pairing, no engineering degree required. Stick it in the hole and it works.

What's the difference compared to the wired mic thing?

No cable. Otherwise same idea. You can push the boom mic closer to your mouth, and the mic doesn't pick up background noise.

Does it work for gaming?

The wireless mic thingy plugs into the headphones' USB-C port, but the headphones still connect to your device over Bluetooth. For gaming, Bluetooth latency can be a problem. A decent Bluetooth dongle gets the lag down to almost nothing, but if you want truly zero-latency, the wired mic option is the better pick.

Is there a warranty?

Two-year warranty.
