Product description

Going backwards is the way forward. Turn your wireless VMK20 or VMK25 headphones into top-tier wired gaming and meeting headphones with Valco's original mic thingy.

Stick the mic thingy into the 3.5 mm port and your headphones are instantly upgraded straight back to the 1990s. The boom mic in front of your face picks up less background noise on calls, and the Bluetooth latency you get when gaming disappears completely. You also get a mute button and a handy volume roller. The mic arm can be bent into a comfortable position in front of your mouth, but you probably shouldn't try to stuff it into your mouth.

So what's the point of this, compared to actual wired headphones? Well, you still get ANC, and you don't have to buy a separate pair of headphones for the office (or for gaming).

In other words: it's a separate microphone that plugs into the VMK models via the headphones' 3.5 mm input. The other end of the cable plugs into your computer, your console, or your nostril. Though if you plug it into your nostril, the microphone isn't going to be much use.

Directional boom mic

A boom mic in front of your face means the microphone picks up your voice and not your partner yelling from the kitchen. The directionality is what separates this from the built-in mic in your headphones.

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs.

We could tell you how great we are, but that would be a bit suspicious. So we'll let our customers do the talking instead. Reviews are real. Not every product has enough reviews yet, but the ones that do show up first. Photos are taken by customers themselves, and unfortunately it shows.

Regression is the road to the future!

So what's the point of this compared to a regular pair of wired headphones? Well, you still get ANC, and you don't need to buy a separate pair just for the office (or for gaming). The boom mic in front of your face cuts background noise on calls, and Bluetooth lag during gaming disappears entirely. Plus you get a mute button and a handy little volume wheel.

Great products without the dead weight*

Did you know that almost all the electronics inside headphones come from a handful of giants?

Everything else is just smoke and sales talk.

A small maker like Valco can use the exact same top-tier components as the famous mega-corporations stick in their pricier models.

We just don't have a thousand employees to feed, a Manhattan skyscraper to pay for, or a CEO with a private jet (yet).

Which is why we can give you the best bang-for-buck on the market.

And what happens after you've bought? Our customer service and Valco's in-house repair team make sure our products last. And if you fancy a change, you can trade your old Valcos back in to us. Try doing that anywhere else.

At the end of the day, the point of all this is simple. We sell headphones to fund our own Death Star, so we can rule the galaxy.
